Who Are We

Being a victim of crime is an incredibly traumatic experience, and we are a network of five agencies that have come together to empower, inform, and guide victims through the obstacles they will face due to their victimization.

We work with victims of REPORTED and NON-REPORTED crimes, and provide services regardless of whether or not the crime is being prosecuted or has been reported to law enforcement.

Good Samaritan Asian Counseling Service:
We provide crisis intervention, medical/ financial/legal advocacy, individual and family therapy, intensive case management and referral services.

We also engage in community outreach and educational activities to enhance awareness of issues of the impact of crime including physical and mental health, criminal justice system, prevention and safe environment.

All of our staff are well trained to handle very sensitive issues such as the traumatic experience of crime, respecting victims’ rights, confidentiality and privacy.

Our specialty is to assist victims of crime to go through the successful process of physical, emotional and financial recovery.

Furthermore, we provide bilingual services in Korean, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Spanish. We provide accommodations in matching therapists/advocates that best suit you.

My Service Mind:
Help through prevention, intervention, education, and advocacy. Intake and Assessments, Individual Counseling, Group Meetings & Support, Translation & Interpretation Services, Crisis Intervention, Assist Police Report Preparation, Information & Referral to System, Legal & Supportive Services, Assist System Coordination. Provide community setting education on prevention.

Additionally, running Free Legal Clinic at Lakewood office.

Oasis Youth Center:
We are a confidential drop-in and resource center for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (GLBTQ) youth ages 14-24. Oasis offers crime victim services to GLBTQ youth, including victims of assault, robbery, stalking, domestic violence, and hate and bias crimes.

Violent Crime Victim Services:
We provide services for victim/survivors of homicide. We endeavor to act as an advocate for these families by offering peer support groups, peer court support, crisis intervention, mental health referrals, and faith community referrals. We strive to ensure that victims receive their constitutional rights, due dignity and respect, and have a meaningful role in the criminal justice system.
